Canva is investing in intelligent, multimedia creation by embedding AI and ML directly into their products. The Engineering Manager for Edge AI will lead and support a team building cross-platform, on-device ML infrastructure and features in C++ across iOS, Android, and web.

Requirements

• Led engineering teams delivering complex technical products
• Engaged in systems programming discussions (C/C++, native APIs, performance trade-offs)
• Experience with, or strong interest in, ML-powered product capabilities such as on-device ML or inference runtimes
• Strong technical judgment to navigate architectural decisions and trade-offs
• Thoughtful people leader who invests in coaching, feedback, and long-term growth
