About This Role

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field or equivalent experience. Four years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise network engineering. DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE required). Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies, STIGs, RMF, and network security principles. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of IP routed networks, routing protocols, switching technologies, VLANs, QoS, and network segmentation.

Valid driver¿s license and ability to obtain a government driver¿s license to operate vehicles on and off the base, in compliance with U.S. base regulations as well as Japanese off-base driving requirements. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of IP routed networks, routing protocols, switching technologies, VLANs, QoS, and network segmentation. Experience engineering wireless LAN systems, VoIP, and CCTV infrastructure. Experience with telecommunications standards, structured cabling, and fixed¿plant systems. Ability to analyze, design, and implement secure network architectures. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage complex IT projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position is designated as IT Level II. Appointment and continued employment require a favorable adjudication of a Tier 3 investigation. This is a drugfree workplace.
