This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. You will serve as a Network Security Engineer in the Corporate Operations Department, ACIO/Information Technology Division, IT Operations Branch (Code 1041) of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division. Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 pay band (GS-11 and GS-12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing and securing enterprise network and security infrastructure (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls), while ensuring cybersecurity compliance through network access control, security device management, and traffic monitoring to maintain the effectiveness and efficiency of the Information Technology (IT) program. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
