Platform Engineer Reports to: VP of Engineering Location: New York, NY or Remote (US-based) Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $130k-$160k, depending on experience We are seeking a Sr. Platform Engineer to own and evolve the infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments that power our business. Champion best practices in automation, testing, and monitoring to reduce downtime and increase release velocity. This role is critical in ensuring that Elysium Health's core systems remain scalable, secure, and cost-effective, while also enabling new product innovation and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Architect, manage, and optimize our multi-cloud environment (Heroku, AWS, GCP) to support current operations and future growth. Ensure high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency across all platform components. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that streamline development and deployment processes for our Shopify-based storefront, internal Ruby on Rails applications, and potential new apps. Champion best practices in automation, testing, and monitoring to reduce downtime and increase release velocity. Establish and monitor performance metrics (SLAs/SLIs), proactively identifying issues before they impact customers. Collaborate with leadership to implement centralized security tooling (e.g., endpoint management), SSO, and overall security monitoring. Provide guidance on infrastructure and integration decisions that impact martech consolidation and new product initiatives.
