The Chief Operating Officer (COO) division at Autodesk is looking for a Software Architect with extensive experience in developing modern, scalable, maintainable, and secure cloud-native experiences. The COO division is responsible for building and maintaining cutting-edge experiences that reach millions of customers every month. As a member of the COO architecture team, you will drive innovation and continually improve cloud-native experiences for both internal and external customers. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely, assuming you can accommodate North American time zones for your regular working hours. Responsibilities Lead technical discussions across diverse teams in a matrix setting Mentor developers on emerging and existing technologies, as well as career development paths Evaluate the feasibility of alternative directions in future architecture/platform development through modeling and prototyping Ensure selected architecture achieve desired quality attributes such as security, scalability, and resilience Influence the design, architecture, and implementation of cloud-native experiences (frontend and backend) Design and implement high-quality code for complex areas Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to translate business needs, system architecture, and product requirements into well-designed and implemented software Evangelize and distribute technical informati
