We are seeking a skilled Vendor Management Specialist with experience in logistics operations and vendor coordination to join our growing team. You will play a key role in managing vendor-side performance, audits, escalations, and relationship maintenance across carriers and logistics partners. Your work will directly impact operational consistency, vendor compliance, and the reduction of service disruptions and billing issues.
Manage day-to-day communication with logistics vendors, including carriers, drayage partners, local agents, and subcontractors
Track and monitor vendor performance metrics such as service issues, delays, claims, and billing disputes
Conduct regular vendor audits and performance reviews to ensure compliance with service and operational standards
Handle escalation workflows for vendor-related issues impacting customers and internal operations
Coordinate resolution of vendor billing discrepancies and disputes in collaboration with billing teams
Maintain accurate vendor records, documentation, and compliance requirements
Support sourcing, onboarding, and qualification of new vendors as needed
2+ years of experience in logistics operations, vendor coordination, carrier management, procurement, or supply chain support
Strong English communication skills in a vendor-facing environment
Excellent documentation, follow-up, and record-keeping abilities
Proven ability to manage conflict professionally and enforce vendor standards
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple vendors simultaneously
Experience working with regional carriers, drayage providers, or subcontracted transportation networks
Familiarity with SLA management and vendor performance reporting
Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) for vendor setup, tracking, and compliance
Exposure to vendor onboarding, qualification, and compliance processes
